Get help choosingStart with one if you want a simple way to learn, have limited space or prefer a smaller initial purchase. Choose a set if you want several notes to play together from the beginning.
You can build gradually. When adding to bowls you already own, check their notes and tuning before choosing the next one.
These bowls are checked by hand for pitch, and the note and frequency identify the sound you are buying. The frequency in hertz (Hz) describes pitch: within this selection, a lower number means a lower note.
If you already own bowls, compare their tuning as well as their note names. A note name alone does not tell you whether two bowls will match.
You can use chakra associations as a personal preference, but you can also choose by the sound you enjoy, the bowl size and your budget. Listen to a lower, a middle and a higher pitch to find a direction that feels right to you.
