In his own words:
"At 22 years old, I had already lost 3 years of my life to heroin.
I would have never imagined myself as an addict. I felt unworthy. Unworthy of love, unworthy of joy, unworthy of life. At that point, all that I wanted was to leave this world.
At the peak of my addiction, I suffered my first, true heartbreak. I felt betrayed. I felt like my world was crumbling around me. I realized I needed to make a change. I was terrified.
The indescribable pain of withdrawals laced with heartbreak was almost too much to take. For days, all I was thinking was that this is not who I am or who I want to be. I had to stick it out. I had to get clean.
Coming out of addiction, I was faced with the hard reality that I had lost my way in life. I’d wasted years and had nothing to show for it. I didn’t know where I was going in life or if I had any purpose. That’s when I found meditation. I went on a quest for knowledge. Chants, mantras, reiki, sound healing, etc… All leading up to a profound out-of-body experience that changed the course of my life forever.

In his own words:
"Born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I moved to L.A. at 21 to study film production at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.
Graduating with honors from USC, I went on to work for Academy Award winners Jared Leto, Tom Cross, and Hughes Winborne, specializing in post-production.
In 2014, family tragedy struck. I made the decision to move back to Seattle to be close to loved ones. Soon after, I landed a role at Amazon Prime Video where I worked as a Program Manager. I can't stress enough the value of my time at Amazon and the relationships I made there.
After 5 years at Amazon, I found myself missing the hands-on aspects of the filmmaking world, and though it didn't seem like the wisest decision, I followed my heart, leaving my job to start my own production company.
I believe it was fate that reunited me with my childhood best-friend and next-door-neighbor, Travis Schumacher. Travis was my closest friend for most of my life and we bonded once again over his interest in sound bath.
I immediately knew there was a place for this on YouTube and asked if he would be interested in letting me record a performance. Before long, Healing Vibrations took on a life of its own and changed both our lives forever."
