Most bowls sold online are mass-produced with little attention to tuning or quality. They’re often labeled “perfect pitch” but arrive off-tune, inconsistent, or even damaged. My bowls are hand-tested for accuracy and tuned to within 10 cents of the true chakra frequency — which makes them about twice as accurate as the industry standard. Each one is individually checked for tone and build quality before it ever ships.

Some bowls sing immediately, while others take a little warming up. This is normal. Try steady pressure (more than you think you need), a slow circular motion, and be patient. The more you play, the easier it becomes.

Think firm but gentle. Too light and the bowl won’t catch, too heavy and it may screech. A steady, even glide along the rim usually works best.

Yes! Different mallets create different tones and textures. Softer suede-wrapped wands bring out a smooth, mellow sound, while harder quartz or rubber-tipped strikers can produce brighter, more penetrating tones.

Absolutely. My bowls are made from 99.99% pure quartz and finished by hand. Small flecks or polishing marks are natural and have no impact on sound or energy.

Crystal bowls don’t drift out of tune the way instruments like guitars do. However, temperature, humidity, and how they’re played can affect how they sound in the moment. Proper care keeps them resonant for a lifetime.

Yes, but with care. Adding water creates a unique, wavy sound effect. Just be sure to empty and dry the bowl afterward, and never leave water in it for long periods.
